Cameron Miles is an experienced myotherapist registered with the Institute of Registered Myotherapists of Australia (IRMA). Cameron completed his Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy at RMIT in 2005 and since this time has successfully built his private practice into a reputable business specialising in injury and pain management, postural correction and preventative healthcare.
Cameron’s myotherapy treatment skills have been developed on a diverse background ranging from the elite sporting world to corporate healthcare. Sports management skills have been well-honed on high-performance bodies during his time as a practitioner for the Melbourne Storm Rugby League Club, the Queensland and NSW Rugby League State of Origin squads and the Australian Cricket squad.
An active and competitive role in semi-professional sports has also lead to Cameron’s unique knowledge of injury management, rehabilitation and corrective exercises. Cameron’s personal sporting career has included playing in the Football Federation Victoria’s National Premier League and competing in the Triathlon’s and Bicycle Victoria’s 3 Peak Cycling Challenge.
Cameron is also a passionate advocator to the practice of myotherapy both within the local community and at government level. His role as Vice President on the board of IRMA enables Cameron to promote the evidence-based study and understanding of myofascial pain and dysfunction, enhance communication between industry professionals and foster professionalism among all IRMA myotherapists.
